GREEN LINK. All important green areas of Rapla are connected together. New square is at a crossroads of new green link and main street of Rapla.

SIZE OF THE SQUARE. Buildings in Rapla are max 3-4 stories high - square also can not be very big. 40x100m square leaves plenty of space for new buildings along the perimeter of the square. Square is on both side of the main street. West side has more park like atmosphere with old trees.

SURFACE OF THE SQUARE is undulating. This defines it more clearly during the time that some of its perimeter buildings are still missing. Main pedestrian routes are on the same, slightly lower level, while places to stay are on higher altitudes. Max hight difference is just 2 meters, it is further emphasized with straight division lines of surface.
